琴コンサート

友達が琴のコンサートに出るというので、初めて琴のコンサートを聴きに行った。友達は習いたてなのに上手に弾いていてびっくりした。このコンサートには、プロの人たちも県外から演奏に来ていてその人達の演奏もたまたま聴くことができた。水野利彦さん（琴）、野村倫子さん（琴）田辺頌山さん（尺八）が弾いていたのだけど、本当に素晴らしい演奏で、琴と尺八ってこんなに音色が美しいんだとびっくりさせられた。特に、琴をたたいていたのには意外だったけど、たたくとまた違った音が出て、それもまたよかった。そして、彼らの指の動きの速さには本当に驚かされた。そして、琴と尺八のコンビネーションもとてもよかった。感動しすぎてその日のうちにＣＤをインターネットでオーダーしてしまった。琴の音色って、聞いているだけで癒される。また近場でコンサートがあったら行ってみたい。日本には美しいものがいっぱいだ。日本人でよかった～。

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I hope everyone have a wonderful Valentine's day today.

So in Japan,ladies give guys a chocolate on Valentine's Day,but in America,

Guys give ladies roses, jewelry,chocolate and stuff.

So roses' price goes up on Valentine's Day.

It's very interesting how different it is.

Also we have chocolate called 'Girichoko'in Japan.

If you are working in a company,you have to get a chocolate to your

Coｰworkers.

Movie:Adaptation アダプテーション

ニコラスケイジが一人で双子の役(チャーリーとドナルド）を演じる映画。変な表紙で、何年も前から気になっていた映画だったけど、最近まで手に取らなかった。でも面白かった。映画の中でドナルドが’You are what you love,not what loves you'と言っていた。うーん、まさしくその通りだと思った。舞台がフロリダだったので、フロリダに1年住んでいた時、住んでいたマンションの前に池があって、その池にワニが住んでいたことを思い出した。あったかい日には草の上に出てきてひなたぼっこしてたっけ。ベランダからよくワニを眺めた。時々道を歩いていると、干からびたワニの’かわ’が落ちていたり、公園に行っても池があると必ずといっていいほどワニが潜んでいた。今考えたら尋常じゃない。でも一年間、毎日がバケーションみたいだった。いい思い出だ。映画に戻るけど、Meryl Streep演じるSusan（New York Timesのライター）がはたから見たら完璧そうな女性なのに、寂しさや葛藤、いろなことからドラッグに溺れ、そこからいろんなことが起こる。チャーリーはいろんなことが起こった後、やっと今まで自分がしたかったことを成し遂げて原稿を書き終えるのだけど、人間の醜い面やあまり人に言いたくないようなことが自然に描かれていて、観ていて面白かった。

Nicholas Cage plays two roles that are Charlie Kaufman and Donald Kaufman. They are twins.I think the DVD cover of this movie is strange.I saw this DVD at the rental store many times and I was curious about the movie, but never actually watched it until today.It was fun though. In the movie,Donald says ' You are what you love, not what you loves you' . I really like what he said and I think that it is so true. Part of movie is shot in Florida, so it reminds me the alligator that used to live in front of our apartment's pond.It used to come out on a sunny day and lie down on the grass.We used to watch him from the balcony. Sometimes when we walk on the street,we would find a dry skin of alligator, and most of the time you would find alligators in the park's pond. When I think about the life in Florida now, it's not ordinary.I felt like I was on vacation everyday when I lived in Florida.Good memory.Back to the movie, Meryl Streep who plays Susan (Works as a writer in New York Times)seems a perfect woman,but because of loneliness and all kinds of difficulties that she is having eventually lead her to drug.After that, various incidents happens.In the end of the movie,Charlie does what he always wanted to do and finish writing the screenplay,but it was fun watching that the ugly part of human being and the stuff that you don't want to tell to everyone is written naturally.

Movie:Synecdoche,New York 脳内ニューヨーク

ちょっと見ていてブルーになったけど、いろんなことを考えさせられる映画だった。悲しみや生きていく上で感じる心の葛藤など、人生の深さをこんな風に現すなんて、ある意味この著者はすごい。最後の方に出てきた葬式で語ってた牧師（？）の言葉がすごく印象に残った。こういう映画好き。


Amazing movie. It made me think about all sorts of stuff. Living life can be lonely. Sometimes I wonder why we even exist. The way this authur express about deepness of life is just amazing. I really like the stuff that priest was saying in the last part of this movie. It's worth watching.
